Initiatives & Events

In addition to the services, we plan and organize series of dynamic panel discussions under the motto of S.H.I.F.T. which stand for:

Sustainability
Either you work in home-based business or for SMEs, NGOs, government or non-government bodies, you need to think, plan and work towards sustainability.
Human Capital Development
Finding the right people and developing the right skills and competencies is the key to a sustainable future.
Innovation in Best Practice
As technologies change practically at the speed of light, it’s vital for individuals, government and non-government bodies to innovate or be left behind. Even in best practices, you can still innovate.
Funding Factor
Regardless of the type, size and category of the business, investors are looking for business models that can prove their worth, while meeting an unmet need in the market.
Trends in CSR

As part of the U.N.’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, more than 150 world leaders came together to adopt a set of 17 goals to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure prosperity for all. Corporations are incorporating these goals into their overall CSR strategies and will track progress against these goals. “Social responsibility” is no longer something in addition to marketing and operations, the looking of CSR has gone from a voluntary action to a required function to an embed within a company’s values, culture, brand and business strategy.

In order to create a Shift in community, SMEs, NGOs and large corporates’ mindset, we need to consider these key elements.

Possible World online workshop

  • Date: 26 March 2022
  • Venue: Zoom
  • Partner: Imacocollabo

The Possible World Game is an innovative online game that simulates what the world would look like in the year 2030. This experience inspires and engages participants in why the world needs the Sustainable Development Goals. Positive Impact Consulting in partnership with the Japanese non-profit corporation Imacocollabo brought this experience to Bahrain.

Workshop Objectives:

  1. It gives people a direct experience of participating in co-creating a sustainable world (“I can do it”; “what I do makes a difference.”)
  2. It simplifies and makes accessible an extremely complex issue to a level that allows people to begin to have better understanding, while stimulating our natural curiosity to learn more.
  3. It activates players’ natural instincts to set their aim toward a worthy goal, simultaneously building confidence and making it enjoyable, while inspiring and motivating players to take action in the real world.

We can arrange customized sessions for different organizations and we can submit our proposal upon request.

The experience left a deep impact on me that I intend to share with the world.

Noor

It was a very creative method of delivering a big concept in a fun and simple way.

Aysha

It makes you think and experience the complexities of the real world when individuals or groups try to do change and implement new ideas. It simulates how every aspect of the external world is interconnected.
